Στ' αληθινά, στα ψεύτικα, το λέω και τ' ομολογώ
σαν να 'μουν άλλος κι όχι εγώ μες στη ζωή πορεύτηκα
σαν να 'μουν άλλος κι όχι εγώ μες στη ζωή πορεύτηκα

Όσο κι αν κανείς προσέχει
όσο κι αν το κυνηγά
πάντα, πάντα θα 'ναι αργά,
δεύτερη ζωή δεν έχει

Here, halfway of my route
the time has come for me to say
the things I love are elsewhere
I had not meant to come this way

In truth, in lies
I speak and I confess
Like I was somebody else, not me
I walked through life.

Now matter how cautious one may be.
Now matter how much he runs after his aims.
It is always, always too late
for there is not a second life.
